current song : sifat 20 by nadamurni

There must be stories about you and your teddy bears, and how you got them. [..i believe everyone does have their own stories] Some may came to you with beautiful memories and such. Mine are lovely, and will be remembered for a life time. It feels like i am going to have many years of loving to come. How about you??

German artist Bettina Kaminski’s "Mini the Pooh," at just 5 mm tall,
is the world’s smallest Teddy Bear!

The world’s most expensive teddy bear : 43,000.00 pound sterling.
the mouth is made with solid gold! The fur was made from gold thread and
eyes with pupils of sapphires and irises made from 20 tiny diamonds.

No matter how expensive you buy a teddy bear.

No matter how big the teddy bear you got.

No matter how cute it is.

It does not matter at all.
The thing that really matters is the warm and nice feeling that you get every time you hug it.
Plus, the reminisce that accompany the feeling. *smile
The fine combination of the feeling+ reminisce will make you feel alive than ever, and it's worth it.

p/s : salam aidil adha, moga dirahmati Allah swt sentiasa.

current song : Lucky by Jason Mraz ft Colbie Caillat

I found that sometime ago that as a family, we were very busy with our lives- my sisters and i are seldom at home because we are staying away for studies, and left our parents at home. The good thing about all this is when all of us are gather together, we will make our moment together as special as possible.

In all of this where was the part where we bonded as a family and made each feel special? Have fantastic family times full of fun, laughter and learn to talk and be close together. One of them is coming together to complete a jigsaw puzzles. It will bring your family closer.

During my semester break, I bought a 1000 pieces of jigsaw puzzles and decided to solve them to kill some time. Because i was a bit slow, my younger sister and my mother offered to help.

My younger sister was the main contributor in putting together this puzzle (she is much better at it than I), I did most of the sorting of pieces, and helped somewhat in the assembly, and my mother as well.

the most difficult part: the clouds

I would say the most difficult part of the puzzle was the cloud part. The pieces were all the exact same colour, and often times, pieces would fit in a place fine, but then at the end there would be pieces that didn't fit in the leftover holes, so you had to keep trying different rearrangements until all of the pieces fit.

After 4 days :the completed assembly.
75X 50 cm.
[smile proudly]

After getting through a large part of the first portion of the puzzle, we realized we needed to start thinking about how to store the parts of the puzzle as we completed them.

Eventually, my mother came across an idea that worked quite nicely-to frame the jigsaw puzzle and hang it at the wall in my room. Then, i went to the shop, bought a frame that cost me rm18. Until now, it is hang nicely in my room. [smile]

*************

About the puzzle
Name: Historical World Maps
Number of Pieces: 18,240
Size when put together: About 276 x 192 cm (6.3 x 9 feet)
Made in Germany, 2002
Participants: Chris and Naomi Hathaway
Start/End Date: April 25, 2004 to April 17, 2005
[source: google.com]

Why Are Jigsaws So Popular?

Jigsaw Puzzles give a relaxed, focused, happy feeling where work seems so far away. You decide on the motivation you put into any pursuit. A jigsaw allows you to get the best from that motivation.

In considering how jigsaw puzzles are made, the number of pieces will determine the challenge. Most manufacturers will have kids jigsaw puzzles of 2 to 100 pieces. the number of pieces is generally 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 1000 and 1000+, up to 24,000.

p/s :currently i'm working on my life jigsaw puzzle. i believe i will manage to solve it somehow. *wink

current mood : relax
current song : So hot by Wondergirls

In this whole week, i was busy watching the Hell's kitchen Season 3 series in youtube website.
I was fascinated by the 1st and 2nd season shown by NTV7 every sunday, 1045 pm, so i decided to continue watching the 3rd and 4th season(latest season) online.

the king of hell's kitchen : Chef Gordon Ramsey

The challenges grew harder and harder in every episodes for every seasons, that's why i found it is an interesting tv show. Every episode is unpredictable, and i anticipated each episodes with excitement and nervousness, as if i am the participant...haha

it's very interesting to see on how fast and professional the chefs can cook to full fill the customers' orders, how delicious the food they produced, and you also got to see their teamwork in the kitchen. plus, we can gain some knowledge about some cooking terms that are used by them.

Hell's Kitchen is an American reality-television cooking competition, based on a series of the same name, broadcast in the UK. The format of the program is similar to the UK version, with a red team and a blue team competing in various cooking challenges for most of the season; once the number of remaining players are small enough, they become a single black team and compete individually. [ source : wikipedia ]

he who survive, will win!!
from left :
Season 1 :Michael Wray; was formerly the head chef at Tatou in Los Angeles, CA
Season 2 :Heather West; was named senior chef of Terra Rossa at the Red Rock Resort Spa and Casino.
Season 3 :Rahman "Rock" Harper; was named head chef of Green Valley Ranch's Terra Verde

p/s : try to watch those episodes, and u guys will know and feel the excitement... [smile]

current mood : swing-swing

i read about a research about men and women in a website few days ago.. feel like want to share a few interesting findings from the research, and check how i respond to each of their findings..!! *wink

1. Tests have shown that women rate 3% higher in general intelligence than men although their brain size is smaller. Most women act dumb to make their mates look good. dis thing REALLY happen. STILL HAPPENING, AND WILL CONTINUE HAPPENING. it happens everywhere, and i dunno why. p/s: to all girls out there, look for a brainy guy if u dun want to act. Buat apa nk belakon, jd la diri sendiri.. Tuhan pon dh pesan, carik la yg sekufu..

2. Women are walking radar detectors, that is why men have difficulty lying to women. Their brains have the ability to integrate and decipher verbal, visual and other signals of body language. yup.. dat is sooo damn true.. but sumtimes we pretend that we know nothing.. and i thank Allah swt for blessing us with this special ability.

3. Women talk and think aloud while men do them silently. As a result, men think women talk too much and are nags. haha..tanak komen pls..

4. Women talk about their problems as a way of relieving stress. She wants to be heard, not fixed being offered advice and solutions. yup. i 100% ly agree. we juz want to be heard, and to release all the tension, stress, and young modulus.offer the solutions ONLY IF u were asked. i repeat, ONLY IF.

5. Women leave men, not because they are unhappy with what he can provide, but because they are emotionally unfulfilled. a piece of advice to guys out there, showing that u luv or care does not means by buying her flowers, or 'raining' her with special gifts, but by asking "are u okay? " or "how was ur day? " or the best way is -if u can detect any changes in her mood or attitude whether she is sad, happy..etc. dat's how u shud do it.. in simple word we call it BE SENSITIVE. *smile

6. Women uses an average of 20,000 communication words, sounds, and gestures a day. Men only use about 7,000. yg jadi smpai 20,000 words tuh sbb byk sembang..hihi

7. So if a woman is talking to you a lot, she likes you. But if she's not talking, you're in trouble. ~honestly, i juz talk to ppl that i personally approved to be my frens.. *no offense*it's my nature, as a girl, i need to feel secure and comfortable.

8. If a woman is unhappy in her relationship, she can't concentrate on her work. If a man is unhappy at work, he can't focus on his relationship. hmm..ye ke? xtau la plak..

9. Men can only do one thing at a time. When they stop their car to read a street directory, they have to turn down the radio. Women's brains are configured for multi- tasking performance. They can talk on the phone, watch the TV and cook at the same time. women rocks!! haha

p/s : SO... what do u think?? pls leave a comment.. luv to hear from you guys.. *smile TRUE OR NOT? U DECIDE!!!!

:: Taipei 101 ::

Taipei 101 was named "Taipei 101" because the building is in Taipei and contains 101 floors. Taipei 101 has been the world's tallest building since 2004.*

Constructed- 1999-2003
Cost $1,600,000,000
507 meters (1667 feet) high

Most aspects of the design, layout and planning were reviewed and approved by a Feng Shui master.

It is about 12% higher than the Petronas Twin Towers.
This fact lowered the Petronas Twin Towers' ranking in the top 100 list from 70 to 81 ( top 100 wonders of the world) , but it didn't knock them off the top 100 list because of their striking architectural motif.

Most of the tourists claimed that the Taipei 101 building's has a rather awkward pagoda architectural design, that it didn't quite make the top 100 list, despite it being the world's tallest building.

:: Even taller buildings are coming...!!! ::

In China, the foundation is already laid for the Shanghai World Financial Center, which will win the "tallest in the world" title when it is completed (likely in 2007).

Even higher buildings are in the early stages of construction or are on the drawing boards in other cities, including Dubai, Jakarta, Chicago, and New York City.

:: Some interesting things about Japan which you might not have known! ::

current mood : sooooo not in da mood
current song : Watching You by Mina, All about Eve OST

Japan is about the size of California and has half the population of the entire United States.

The sun is red in Japan and the country itself is referred to by Japanese people as "the land of the rising sun"

It will always take one to two hours for a pizza to be delivered.

You can buy batteries, beer, wine, condoms, cigarettes, comic books, hot dogs, light bulbs, and used women's underwear from vending machines.

Fruits are forbiddingly expensive in Japan. You could end up paying up to $2 for a single apple or peach.

It is socially acceptable to pick your nose in public and urinate at the side of the road, but you cannot blow your nose in public.
Japanese people, in general, can't drive very well.
The green traffic light is called "blue".

At many businesses in Japan, they offer alcohol to the employees after six pm.

It is usually mandatory to give a landlord a gift of money of $1,000-$2000 when moving into his apartment building.

The Japanese love corn, sesame seeds, and mayonnaise on their pizza.

There are no 24 hour ATMs in Japan (closed on holidays and many only open during normal bank hours).
Slurp your soup. you are expected to slurp while having liquids such as soups. If you do not, it is considered that you do not like the food and the host may feel offended.

KFC is the place to be on Christmas Day.

Japan has about 1,500 earthquakes each year.
Japan has roughly 200 volcanoes.

You can smoke just about anywhere.

When you go to a funeral or a wedding you must take a gift of money.

In Japanese villages there is no need to send invitations for a wedding or a funeral. They are considered community events and the entire village will help in preparing the food, and taking care of all the required arrangements.

The new generation of Japanese people are not as short as Westerners think.

Never stick your chopsticks upright in your rice. This is an old Japanese custom and is what is done when food is offered to the dead. When it is not an offering it is considered to be a very ill omen.

It is impolite to tear the wrapping paper off of a gift.

p/s : i wish can fly to japan rite now..!!!

while reading in an online newspaper portal 2 days ago, one of the news headline really caught my eyes- ALBINO

accompanied by the curiousity, i searched that topic right way in some websites, to know more about it. ( actually it's juz an excuse for me to escape from studying for my exam..hehe)

What is ALBINISM @ ALBINO ??
Congenital absence of any pigmentation or coloration in a person, animal, or plant, resulting in white hair and pink eyes in mammals.

Albinism is a recessively inherited condition affecting about 1 in 17,000 people.

Koalas are known for being cute and cuddly, but once you see the albino ones, maybe you'll start to think differently..hmmm

To see an albino giraffe running around in the wild is such a rare event..isit?

mumble..?? *happy feet* albino penguin~

albino racoon, albino dolphin, albino butterfly, albino turtle

He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner. His names are
the most Beautiful Names. All that is in the heavens and
the earth glorifies Him,
and He is the Mighty the Wise.
59 : 25

This “albino” milkweed obtaining the nutrients it needs to stay alive from the healthy growth. In a way, it’s a parasite on itself. The white ramets are not producing chlorophyll, probably as a result of a somatic (in non-reproductive tissues) mutation.

But whenever may be the date of Mother's Day, the spirit is the same everywhere.. We still aiming for the same thing, to pay tribute to our mothers and thank them for all their love and support.

1. in United Kingdom, Mother's day or Mothering Sunday Mother's Day is celebrated in the fourth Sunday in the month of Lent. Since the Lent days are not fixed, the date for mothers Day changes every year. So, it does not fall on the same date as in US.

current mood : happy
current song : My Girl OST ( all of them !! )

Lee Da-hae as Ju Yoo-rin, Lee Dong-wook as Seol Gong-chan, Lee Joon-ki as Seo Jeong-woo, Park Si-hyeon as Kim Sae-hyun

One of my top favourite korean drama series - My Girl, is highly recommended to those who haven't watch this series yet !! But before that, pls make sure that u have already watch Full House. *wink*

This series is so hilarious. I didn't even realize that I was smiling all throughout because I was so preoccupied with Lee Dong-wook's good looks and Lee Da Hae's talent. Actually, it reminds me of Full House. The more they fight, the more they look good on-screen.

There are definitely a lot of funny moments. With Yoo-rin and Gong-chan's dramatization, it made it even funnier. I can't seem to stop laughing during their dream sequences. There were two which really made me cry from laughing too hard - the hospital scene when Yoo-rin is running away from the bad guys and the impersonation of some well-known spies.

There maybe some drama, but still, they managed to put in some cute scenes to make it balance. It's like a rollercoaster of emotions which I really appreciate. It won't make you feel down all throughout.

Lee Da-hae definitely has talent as a comedian. She is very good in facial expressions and the delivery looks so natural. As for the rest of the gang, they all gave a nice performances especially Lee Dong-wook. It wasn't that easy portraying drama and humor in one character. Lee Joon-ki did okay as the third wheel but sometimes, it looks weird seeing him doing fighting scenes and yet, he looks like a girl… a good looking Korean girl...haha.. With Park Si-hyeon, she wasn't that bad as a beginner.

Just when you thought you are done with the good stuff, think again. On it's last part, they managed to bring in a surprising ending. Curious? You got to see it for yourself!! *wink again*

current mood : free and easy
current song : Suteki da Ne/The Lovely Sound, by Kiroro

ppl keep asking me : " wHy ShiniGaMi?" " WhY RuKia? "
and now, i think it's time for me to clarify and to clear all your doubts regarding these 2 things.

:: wHy ShiniGaMi ??? ::
"SHINIGAMI" is a japanese term which means 'the God of death'. For those who luv japanese anime like i do, i'm sure u will kno where dis 'shinigami' comes from. Yup!! it's from da "BLEACH" anime.

Briefly, in dis anime, shinigami's work is to protect and to guide all pure souls from da deads, to go straight away to heaven. cool huh?? hehe
these pure souls will then join ppl there,
"THE SOUL SOCIETY".

:: wHo is rUkiA ??? ::
using dis name as ma name in ma profile, she is ma fav character in BLEACH. her full name is Kuchiki Rukia. Cunning, energetic, skillfull, and not to forget.. she's kinda cute!! she is one of the shinigamis and has one protective big brother, KUCHIKI BYAKUYA. his one of da famous
shinigami in Soul Society.

along wit KUROSAKI ICHIGO (high school student), they work together to fight da hollows wit their special sword/blade.

Together, they've been through everything, some good times and some bad. Through their tears and their mistakes. from heartaches to headaches. gone from fights to fears.

they always quarrel, but still, they understand each other very well. he will always be there for her, and vice versa. i'm not sure they hv feeling for each other onot.. we'll juz wait n see !!!! =)

p/s : i adore abarai renji =)
