8 & 9 jan : my and hazman kawin-ing...!!

alhamdulillah... both of them were my ex-college mates. My was my chalet mate back then, and hazman was my muscom president. feel so happy for my, and nice people get ended up with nice people too...*smile janji Tuhan itu pasti, and I truly believe that. I went to their reception in Sepang with my best friend and her husband...the newly wed couple.

I really love the song " doa seorang kekasih" by inteam since it was released about 7 years ago, without knowing that it is a piece of doa for people who's getting married [doa bakal pengantin] that is embedded into a sweet song. I highly recommend for you people to listen to the song.

15 jan : the end of my internship

I never know how much I miss my student life when I start to work in Muehlbauer. But still, I learn a lot, and gain a lot of experience from the staff there. Next week I'm gonna start my student life again...!!!

I feel like ramadan is flying by so fast. It's only few days away...Eid is coming.. and with it, the promise of a few more rays of sun each day. *smile

I still remember my first fasting experience, how hard+unusual it was for me. That time I was seven years old. I see the importance of fasting as one of the essential pillars as a muslim as I grew up, and have gotten closer to Allah [insha-allah] and not to forget, on how my Ramadans have been through out years.

"Bukanlah puasa itu (hanya) menahan diri dari makan dan minum. Sebaliknya ia juga harus tertahan dari perkara lagha dan lucah. Apabila kamu dimaki atau diperbodohkan, berkatalah AKU BERPUASA"

May ALLAH showers all of you with blessing...insha-allah..

Praise belongs to God who guided us to His praise and placed us among the people of praise, that we might be among the thankful for His beneficence and that He might recompense us for that with the recompense of the good-doers!

Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur-an, as a guide to mankind, also Clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put you to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.
Surah Al Baqarah:185

Let's hope this month of trial serves to strengthen our faith. Use up the opportunities to 'collect points' wisely! Are you ready?

I just received a sad news from my ex-schoolmate saying that one of our teachers, Cikgu Hasnah, had passed away. She passed away on Friday, 6 Feb 2009 after fighting cancer for years.

She taught us chemistry and I will forever remember her teaching style. She always slip-in the brilliant stories of the prophet Muhammad pbuh between her explanations about something.
It is truly a loss for all of us.

I am writing this in memory of her. It is also as a tribute to all teachers who have taken the time to pass on their knowledge to me.

I still remember it clearly, as if it happens yesterday, the day when SPM results was announced...
Indeed, it was a very nice scene to see. Everyone is happy, cheering and laughing. Some were crying, with tears of happiness. One of our friends informed us that all 25 students in our class got A1 for chemistry along with other classes.
Cikgu Hasnah once said that she really wants to see our whole class to get A1 for chemistry. Alhamdulillah, Allah has answered your prayer cikgu..!!! *smile

1 syawal 1429, pagi nirmala.
Perbualan kami sekeluarga hari itu bermula selepas solat sunat hari raya.

"Ayah, selamat hari raya. cemana raya kat sana? ", kami bertanya. "hmmm.. ntah lah. tapi tadi ayah gi sembahyang raya pakai
uniform kerja.... ", jawab ayah ringkas.

Ini merupakan aidilfitri kami yang kedua tanpa ayah di sisi kerana bertugas selama 2 bulan di perbatasan. Teringat kembali ketika pertama kali beraya tanpa ayah. Ketika itu aku berusia 10 tahun. Ayah telah mengirimkan kad raya untukku beralamatkan sekolahku. Guru kelasku, Puan Salina yang membacanya untukku. Yang lucunya, dia mengalirkan air mata lantas memeluk aku yang belum sempat membacanya. Terpinga-pinga seketika apabila dipeluk guru yang menangis. "Kesian kamu. " kata cikgu dalam esaknya.

Tapi itu kisah 13 tahun dulu.

Aidilfitri kami kali ini agak sederhana, namun kemeriahannya tetap terasa. Kami pulang ke kampung sebelah ayah untuk menjenguk atok yang semakin uzur, mewakili ayah yang tidak dapat pulang berhari raya tahun itu.
Emak lebih banyak termenung pada raya kali ini. Rindukan ayah barangkali. Mungkin juga emak terkenangkan hari rayanya bersama-sama arwah ibu dan bapanya (arwah atok dan nenek kami) yang sudah lama pergi.

walaupun begitu, aku bersyukur kerana masih berpeluang menyambut aidilfitri bersama keluarga, terutamanya ayah (walaupun dipisahkan oleh jarak) dan ibu. Dibandingkan dengan rakan-rakanku yang sudah kematian ayah atau ibu, aku jauh lebih bertuah. Syukur alhamdulillah.. Aku akan menghargai peluang yang ada.

Buat rakan-rakan di luar sana, hargai, sayangi, kasihilah mereka selagi mereka masih ada, walau di mana jua berada. Di hari raya ini, jangan lupa memohon ampun dan maaf seikhlas hati.

Manusia lain mungkin boleh memaafkan, tetapi maafnya sukar menambah kasih. Tiada makhluk yang mampu mengambil acuan itu… memaafkan, dan seterusnya menyayangi. Malah lebih kerap seorang insan terpaksa memaafkan insan yang lain, akan menjadikan hubungan semakin hambar dan tawar.

Kecuali orang tua kita.
